Dear ISAHP Members,

The tenth International Symposium on the Analytic Hierarchy Process for decision making, ISAHP2009, www.isahp.org, will take place at the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, July 30-August 1 (Thursday through Saturday). This symposium will focus on decision making with the AHP. There will be a free pre-meeting workshop presented by Thomas L. Saaty, the creator of the AHP, on July 29 (Wednesday) on the advanced theory for decision making with dependence and feedback, the Analytic Network Process (ANP). The abstract submission deadline has been extended to March 30, so please submit yours as soon as possible. We would also appreciate it if you would let us know which of you and your coauthors are planning to attend the meeting by sending a brief message to jtamewitz@katz.pitt.edu.

Important Dates

• March 30 abstracts due (deadline extended from March 15)
• April 15 Early registration deadline to pay reduced meeting fee
• May 15 Deadline for submitting first version of paper. Papers will be reviewed and comments or suggestions for changes sent back to corresponding author within two weeks of receiving the paper so please send it as early as you can.
• June 15 Deadline for submitting final corrected paper.
• July 29 (Wednesday) Free workshop on decision making with dependence and feedback
• July 30 - August 1 (Thursday-Saturday noon) meeting takes place
• August 1 evening open house at the Saaty residence near the university
